Winter evening twilight at São Carlos, São Paulo state, SE Brazil.
I have always been fascinated by the manual work of those people who daily, 30 days a month, 365 days a year are hard, but tenderly with their hands and arms.
And, there is no greater example of this work than in a porcelain articles factory. In this case, the Monte Sião Porcelain factory, in the city of Monte Sião, MG-Brasil.

You only realize how many colors there are on the city streets when you photograph the streets of the city in color.
It seems kind of obvious, but it’s the pure reality.

I liked the result so much and decided to post.
Ready. Posted !!!

Life’s weird and strange things….
Well sooner than I could have imagined I will do my first photographic exhibition with black and white photographs of my project in progress called Rural Workers or simply “Rurals”. Continue reading “Photographic exhibition”
This is serious what I am going to say now: my photography almost always begins as a form of joke. It seems contradictory, but then it may seem serious, but it’s still a form of fun. Continue reading “I photograph for pure fun”
“If anyone asks me what time is, I immediately declare my ignorance: I do not know. I hear the beating of the pendulum clock right now, and the answer seems to be there. And if the mirror shows me that I am not who I was a year ago, it will not tell me what the time is. Just what time does.” (José Saramago) Continue reading “‘Time and Patience’ (José Saramago)”
One thought and one question: do we create an aesthetic in photography and then become a hostage of it? Continue reading “Aesthetics and other aspects of black & white photography”
The dynamism and much of the ability to catch the attention of the observer to photographs generally depends heavily on true and perceived geometric elements of the photographs. Continue reading “True and perceived geometry in photography”
