In honor of film photography

After more than 30 years I am returning to film photography. I do not know if it is to stay, but I am back … I have the impression that it will live well with my digital photography that I have been practicing for some 20 years.

The feeling I get when I look at my first analogue photos is something similar to the feelings of listening to my vinyl records compared to listening to music on CDs. I feel my images generated in films more vivid than those I digitally generate. But, it is just a feeling. I like to feel it.

This series of photos: Carnival 2020 in the city of Poços de Caldas, State of Minas Gerais, Southeast Brazil. I used a 40 years ‘+’ Pentax K1000 camera and an Ektar100 film.
