“The fun thing about photography— augmenting our vision and reality” – Eric Kim

Wise words from Weston and Kim.
Thinking seriously about them, I reviewed these three photographs I made a long time ago.

The first photo I ask myself: are they really sand dunes or a glacier?

The second picture I ask myself: is it a night photo? The answer is no: it was made in the morning. Shortly after sunrise.

The third is the result of an exercise that I always do by photographing through different translucent materials. In this case, through a glass brick that is used sometimes put in walls in our houses so that the light can enter the room.

Interesting really: through photography we can do / create many things: create different realities that we see; our own reality. We can also increase or distort reality.
